Luckily, Johnson gave him a nudge and he collected himself and perked up.
It's not the first time a personality has dozed off live on the air. Back in May,
actor Morgan Freeman snoozed during an early morning interview while promoting his movie, "Now You See Me."
Sports radio host Mike Francesca also infamously fell asleep during a 2012 interview, but insisted he was exhausted, overworked, and just simply "closed his eyes" for a moment.
Ditka has not publicly addressed his on-air napping.
