Miley Cyrus' Christmas Day photo of her family, a then and now shot, shows how drastically the artist has changed from her "Hannah Montana" days.

The singer released a photo of her family recreating a family portrait from years ago on Twitter.

"Miley Cyrus reined in the need to shock to recreate a treasured family photo which she shared with fans on Christmas Day," The Daily Mail reported. "The singer posted a flashback snap of her family on Christmas Day — split with the same photo updated with her siblings and parents — albeit looking somewhat older."

The photos showed a young Miley, now 21, posing with her siblings Noah, 13, Trace, 24, Braison. 19, and Brandi, 26, plus father Billy Ray Cyrus and mother Tish.

She also posted a humorous family Christmas photo of what she called the "annual family fist fight."

Trace Cyrus posted the same picture on his Instagram with the note, "Merry Christmas from the Cyrus family."

The photos come at a time when Cyrus has sparked controversy for her public appearances, twerking and wearing skimpy clothing. Most recently, her highly sexualized "Adore You" music video from her "Bangerz" album is too raunchy and distasteful, some fans say.
