Boston was a little more twerkless Saturday when a snow storm prevented Miley Cyrus from performing at the city's annual Jingle Ball concert.

Metro Boston reported a representative for Cyrus said in a statement, “Miley is extremely disappointed she cannot be there to perform, but looks forward to her next opportunity to entertain her fans in Boston.”

The 21-year-old Cyrus, recently named MTV's best artist of 2013, shared in a series of tweets just how much she wanted to perform in Boston.

The “Wrecking Ball” singer performed her signature moves with a man dressed as Santa Claus Friday night at Madison Square Garden for the Z100 Jingle Ball in NYC. Clad in a red sequined crop top and matching bikini bottoms, she showed Santa some naughty moves. She also twerked with a Christmas tree.

Cyrus will cap a controversial career-boosting year with a performance in Times Square on New Year’s Eve.
