Turkish police are on the hunt for a 20-year-old woman who's been called the "beautiful terrorist with a Mona Lisa smile."
Unlike the subject of Leonardo da Vinci's iconic artwork, police fear that the woman, Walentina Slobodjanuk, seen in a headshot wearing a black headscarf, could be a member of the Islamic State (ISIS).
The Daily Mail reported that Slobodjanuk has allegedly been masquerading as "Yildiz Bozkurt" and Turkish police said Sunday she's been moving freely through the country with the help of a fake ID.
Slobodjanuk was reportedly born in Kazakhstan in 1995, and may be tied to four suspected jihadis also described by police as having a plan to carry out a major terror attack in Turkey. The group is believed to be affiliated with suicide bombers who killed over 100 people in the city of Ankara earlier this month.
Many terrorists from around the Middle East and Europe have also been using Turkey as an entrance point into Syria, where a bloody civil war has raged for years.
Along with aspiring terrorists, many young women have flocked to Syria and other ISIS strongholds from around the world to become jihadi brides.
