Little League pitcher Mo’ne Davis pitched her second shutout in a row to lead her team, the Philadelphia Taney Dragons, to win the first Little League World Series match Friday.
The 13-year-old girl is only the 17th girl to play in the Little League World Series in 68 years.

She’s also the first girl to pitch a Little League World Series shutout, and she’s been making the news with her pitching style as her team headed to the Series.
Fans of the up-and-coming pitcher went online to share their amazement at her skills.
Davis also pulled in the attention of some sports players, who gave her congrats for her pitching.
The dragons beat the Nashville team 4-0. Davis allowed two hits in the six shutout innings and didn’t walk a batter.
