A self-proclaimed shark wrestler wrangled a 200-pound brown shark onto a Nantucket, Mass., beach over the weekend, but soon released it back into the water.
Elliot Sudal, 24, was bluefishing Sunday off the coast of Nantucket but soon realized he wasn’t the only one.
"I could feel a sharp tug on the line and when I pulled the fish up, I noticed that something was biting them in half,"
Sudal, a boat captain, told the New York Daily News.

Sudal suspected his competition was a shark and, having caught about 100 of them in the last eight months, he sprang into action.
"I had my shark gear in my car, ran out and got it, threw out half a bluefish on a hook and like 30 seconds later
I had hooked up on this shark," Sudal told CBS Boston. "It just pulled out like a 150 yards of line and started going."
Sudal battled with the 200-pound brown shark for about 45 minutes before handing off the line to his cousin and running into the water to finish the job by hand.
"You have to run in the water and grab it by the tail and pull it on shore because you can't just drag it on because they’re too heavy," he said.
A crowd gathered as Sudal wrestled with the shark. The animal was only out of the water for about a minute before the fisherman cut the line and set it free.

"I always let all the sharks I catch go. It's really important to do that especially the bigger sharks," Sudal said. "Catching sharks is one of my favorite things to do. There's something satisfying about catching something bigger than you. It’s like a battle."
