Tom Brady Weighs Selling Indian Creek Mansion for Over $150M

Tom Brady may be considering selling his luxury mansion on Indian Creek Island.

Located in the exclusive Florida community often dubbed the "Billionaire Bunker," real estate prices have skyrocketed since Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos' arrival. Now, sources familiar with the situation revealed that the property, located at 26 Indian Creek Island Road, is being discreetly shown to a select group of prospective buyers, Bloomberg reported. Although the home isn't officially on the market, it has reportedly garnered offers exceeding $150 million, according to three insiders with knowledge of the matter.

Negotiations are said to be ongoing, but there's no guarantee a deal will be finalized.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion built a custom waterfront home on a 2-acre lot on Indian Creek Island, with plans for a two-story house with a gym and cabana. Records show he bought the land in 2020 for $17 million.

Selling the property would reflect Indian Creek's rise as one of the richest communities in the U.S. The island has seen property values surge, especially after Bezos' recent purchases.

Bezos has made significant real estate investments in Indian Creek, purchasing three properties since 2023 for over $230 million. Meanwhile, an empty lot near his holdings is currently listed for $200 million.

Brady, 47, settled in South Florida after retiring from the NFL. In 2023, he secured office space for his family business in Bay Harbor, just a short distance from his Indian Creek estate. The property, still under construction, will include offices, residences, and a spa operated by The Well, a New York-based company.

Brady's ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, 44, lives in Surfside at 1400 Biscaya Drive, directly across the water from Brady's home.

The pair divorced in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage. Bündchen later spoke candidly about the disintegration of the marriage with Vanity Fair, using the interview as a platform to dismiss multiple rumors including that she sought a divorce because Brady backed out of retirement to play football for one more season.

"That takes years to happen," she told the publication.

Bündchen went on to call the idea of leaving Brady because of his football career "the craziest thing I've ever heard."

"Listen, I have always cheered for him, and I would continue forever. If there's one person I want to be the happiest in the world, it's him, believe me," she said. "I want him to achieve and to conquer. I want all his dreams to come true. That's what I want, really, from the bottom of my heart."

Their marriage ending was not so clear-cut and simple.

"What's been said is one piece of a much bigger puzzle. It's not so black and white," Bündchen said.

"Sometimes you grow together; sometimes you grow apart," she added. "When I was 26 years old and he was 29 years old, we met, we wanted a family, we wanted things together. As time goes by, we realize that we just wanted different things, and now we have a choice to make. That doesn't mean you don't love the person. It just means that in order for you to be authentic and truly live the life that you want to live, you have to have somebody who can meet you in the middle, right? It's a dance. It's a balance."
