Former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman revealed White House secrets while filming a reality TV show and they were so explosive that a former castmate recently said he's scared to reveal them.
The White House revelations "shook us all to the core," says Ross Mathews, Omarosa's former castmate on "Celebrity Big Brother" in 2018. "She dramatically swore us all to secrecy," he said of the day the former member of the Trump administration spilled secrets to the cast.
Mathews' book "Name Drop: The Really Good Celebrity Stories I Usually Only Tell At Happy Hour" was released on Tuesday. "Once the cameras stopped rolling, Omarosa also told me some other s*** that I'm too scared to put into this book," he wrote, according to People.
"The day after we got out of the Celebrity Big Brother house, we all met up at Marissa's house to finally talk about all the stuff no one wanted to mention while cameras had been rolling twenty-four hours a day."
Mathews said Omarosa first asked that they leave their cellphones in a corner. She then "spilled some serious White House tea that shook us all to the core" before making them promise to never repeat what they had heard. Omarosa told People she was relieved that nobody ever came forth with the information she had shared.
"I shared a lot of very intimate details about my experience at the White House with my castmates and they assured me they would keep it confidential," she said. "Each of them promised to keep the information private. I am glad he left the juiciest bits out of his book."
Omarosa became known after her appearance in the first season of "The Apprentice." She then followed Trump to the White House, where she worked as a senior adviser. She was axed from her job in 2017 and in response, she released her tell-all book "Unhinged" in which she wrote about growing disillusioned with Trump, who she decided was a racist. The president responded by calling her a "dog."
