Oprah Winfrey to Lindsay Lohan: 'Cut the BS' in Reality Series (Video)

By    |   Thursday, 06 March 2014 11:57 AM EST

Oprah Winfrey tells Lindsay Lohan to "cut the bulls—" in a newly released trailer for the troubled actress' docu-drama reality series slated to premiere this weekend.

Lohan, who completed her sixth stint in rehab over the summer, hooked up with Winfrey in August for her first post-treatment sit-down interview. It was then announced that the 27-year-old "Mean Girls" star had signed on for an eight-part, documentary-style reality show to air on Winfrey's OWN network this year.

The show, which premieres Sunday, chronicles the actress' life after rehab and her efforts to stay clean and sober.

The starlet's legal troubles trace back to a pair of drunken driving arrests in 2007, and a handful of other driving-related incidents, plus probation violations and a shoplifting charge. She has appeared in court at least 20 times, served four brief jail sentences, and been held for 35 days under house arrest, in addition to the six trips to rehab.

The most recent stint stemmed from plea deal to settle charges relating to a 2012 car accident.

In the two-minute trailer for the reality show, Winfrey is forced to put her foot down when Lohan acts up.

"She has changed things every single day, not following the rules that they agreed to, not participating," Winfrey is told by a producer on her way to meet Lohan. "She wouldn't commit to the shoot next week so they had to cancel it."

"This is exactly what everyone said was going to happen, and I believed differently," the media mogul responds. "She doesn't understand, this is your life."

Later, in a sit-down with the actress, Winfrey has some harsh words.

"My truth is that I really do want you to win. I really do," she says. "If that isn't what you want, I'm OK with that, you know, I will tell these guys to pack up and leave today."

"No, it's not that I'm not ready to do that, I do want to," Lohan replies.

"You need to cut the bulls— then, you really do," Winfrey says.

"Lindsay" premieres Sunday at 10 p.m. EST on OWN.
