Orlando Bloom is sporting a new tattoo of his son's name but there is just one problem -- the name has been misspelled.
The "Lord of the Rings" star was not aware of it until a fan pointed it out on social media. The name of Bloom’s 9-year-old son, Flynn, was written out on his forearm in morse code, along with the date and time Flynn was born.
At issue is that a single dot is missing, so the “L” is actually an “R,” which changes the spelling to F-R-Y-N-N.
The mistake easily could have gone undetected if not for the sharp eyes of his Instagram followers, who picked up on the mishap from a photo Bloom shared to the social media platform earlier this week, along with the caption "New #tattoo can you guess who?"
"Babe you spelled it wrong," one fan pointed out.
"Sir i'm sorry but that tattoo most definitely says 'frynn'" another fan noted.
Bloom's tattoo artist acknowledged the mistake in a post to Instagram.
"A beautiful reminder for @orlandobloom of his son," he wrote as a caption to a photo of Bloom's tattoo. "And yes, a dot is missing, we know, it will be fixed :)"
Bloom shares Flynn with Miranda Kerr, who he married in 2010. They divorced three years later on amicable terms. He is now engaged to pop icon Katy Perry, who he asked to marry him on Valentine's Day last year, according to the Daily Mail.
