An Owen Wilson fan has created a video montage of the scarily frequent use of the word "wow" in the actor's films, and now that clip has gone viral with more than 1 million views on YouTube since Saturday.
YouTube user Owenergy Studio, whose channel is made up of all things Owen Wilson, created the 2 minute, 35 second supercut comprising clips from films like "Meet the Parents," "Shanghai Noon," "The Internship," "The Big Year," "Zoolander," and "Night at the Museum."
"Sadly, there doesn't appear to be a full list of all of the titles featured here in order, but most of the movies are recognizable, and quite a few titles are represented by
multiple clips," wrote Eric Eisenberg of CinemaBlend.com. "In fact, there are points where it feels like the video is 90 percent comprised of scenes from Woody Allen's 'Midnight In Paris.' That being said, the number of 'wows' do make sense when you consider that most of that film is just Owen Wilson being surprised while meeting famous dead people."
People magazine noted that the video seems to be fairly comprehensive of Wilson's filmography.
"While scenes from his popular Disney animated film 'Cars' are missing, the clip ends on a high note," People noted, referring to a scene from "Wedding Crashers."
"Oh man, I feel like wow. You've still got it," Wilson says.
According to social media responses, it appears not many fans noticed the actor's wide-ranging use of the word "wow."
