Paris Jackson, daughter of the King of Pop Michael Jackson, was
rushed to the hospital early Wednesday morning after an apparent suicide attempt, TMZ reported.
A source close to the family told TMZ that Jackson, 15, had a meltdown Tuesday night after she was not allowed to attend a Marilyn Manson concert. Hours later she was taken by ambulance from her Calabasas, Calif., home to a nearby hospital.
Initial reports differed on what exactly happened to the teen. According to TMZ, the person who called 911 reported a possible overdose, while a source connected to the emergency response claimed to have seen multiple cuts on one of her wrists.

"She's going to be OK," one source, who was at the hospital, told CNN.
Jackson, the daughter of Michael Jackson and Debbie Rowe, posted a series of cryptic tweets on Twitter hours before she was rushed to the hospital.
A lawyer for Katherine Jackson, Paris' grandmother,
confirmed the suicide attempt to the New York Daily News.
"[Paris] suffered with the loss of her father... But we don't know what she was exposed to that precipitated this," the lawyer said.
Eric George, Rowe's lawyer, also released a statement regarding Jackson's hospitalization.
"We appreciate everyone's thoughts for Paris at this time and their respect for the family's privacy," he told TMZ.
A TMZ source close to the teenager suggested Jackson has attempted suicide "in the past" but added that this time it was "far more serious."
"It was not a cry for help," said the source.
