The passengers of missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 have been cleared of suspicion as officials continue to search the Indian Ocean and investigate everything from the flight’s food vendors to its cargo for clues to the plane’s disappearance.
Khalid Abu Bakar, the inspector general of Malaysian police, said on Wednesday that all 227 passengers were cleared of any role in hijacking or sabotage, i
ncluding having any personal or psychological problems, according to CNN.

Further investigation of the flight’s 12 crew members is ongoing.
"As we have said earlier,
only the passengers [have] been cleared. The rest? No," Khalid said, Reuters reported.
USA Today said the provider of the food delivered to the plane before takeoff is being investigated to eliminate the possibility of poisoning, according to USA Today.
Investigators may never find the answers they seek.
"Investigations may go on and on and on. We have to clear every little thing," Khalid said, according to USA Today. "At the end of the investigations, we may not even know the real cause. We may not even know the reason for this incident."
The Boeing 777 vanished March 8 with 239 people onboard the flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. The plane’s communication systems were disabled and it is believed to have been diverted thousands of miles off its course.
Ten aircraft and nine ships found no evidence on Wednesday as they searched the southern Indian Ocean,
Australia's Joint Agency Coordination Centre said, according to the Deccan Herald.
The HMS Tireless, a submarine of the British Royal Navy, and HMS Echo, a coastal survey ship, will assist in the search.
Malaysian police have interviewed about 170 people, according to CNN, and will continue questioning the relatives of those aboard the plane.
