Patriots Announcer Scott Zolakon on Tom Brady TD: 'Where's the Beef' (Video)

By    |   Monday, 14 October 2013 09:29 AM EDT

In what he later called a display of "raw emotion," New England Patriots radio announcer Scott Zolak went absolutely berserk Sunday after Tom Brady's last-ditch effort touchdown pass won the game, screaming nonsensical things like "unicorns!" "show ponies!" and "where's the beef?"

Zolak, a color analyst for 98.5's The Sports Hub, went crazy after the Patriots topped the New Orleans Saints 30-27 on a late Brady touchdown pass to rookie Kenbrell Thompkins with just five seconds remaining. The quarterback has been struggling lately to find his groove with the Patriots' new receivers.

"Brady's back! That's your quarterback! Who left the building? Unicorns! Show ponies! Where's the beef?" he screamed.

"Boy, when you thought you'd seen it all, when it's total despair... 14 years in the league. This situation after this situation he's been through ... and to elevate a rookie, my god."

Zolak's viral-worthy outburst was immediately applauded on Twitter.

Here's video footage of the game-winning touchdown:
