Paul Simon was arrested along with his wife, Edie Brickell, for disorderly conduct on Saturday at their New Canaan, Conn., home. Police were reportedly called to the residence to resolve a "family dispute."
The two were released later in the day and are scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court for arraignment on Monday,

Details surrounding the incident have not been released.
The 72-year-old Simon, a 12-time Grammy winner and a member of The Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame, married Brickell in 1992. The pair has three children together, ages 16, 19, and 22,

The 47-year-old Brickell is a musician as well. She is known for her band Edie Brickell & New Bohemians, which hit No. 4 in 1988 on the Billboard 200 chart for the hit song "What I Am."
More recently, Brickell recorded a Grammy-winning album with comedian Steve Martin,
the Toronto Sun noted.
Though the details of the incident have yet to be released, the Toronto Sun reported that the arrests were made in connection to a domestic violence dispute. NBC 4 news cited a police report that "found probable cause" at the scene to arrest the couple.
Various media attempts for comments from Simon's Los Angeles-based agent went unanswered.
