The English home of the late Peaches Geldof, daughter of musician and Live Aid organizer Bob Geldof, has been broken into twice since the 25-year-old socialite died of a heroin overdose in April.
According to police, burglars took a lawnmower from Geldof's Wrotham, Kent, home during the first break-in in mid-April, shortly after her death. Burglars then struck again last Friday, but officers arrived before the thieves could
make off with any personal items, Sky News reported.

After the April burglary, authorities set up surveillance cameras outside the $1.7 million home,
London's The Sun reported, as per the New York Daily News.
"The house has been empty ever since Peaches died," a source told The Sun. "The vultures who broke in clearly knew that and are preying on the bereaved and her family. It's a wicked thing to do given what [Geldof's husband] Tom [Cohen] is going through at this time."
The British newspaper said that Cohen left the home with the couple's children, Astala and Phaedra, right after his wife's death.
"I know a mobile lawnmower was taken. Bob [Geldof] wanted to keep it for sentimental reasons, but it was broken so he asked someone to do it up," one of Peaches Geldof's neighbors told The Sun. "I spoke to the mechanic but he said in the end they told him he couldn't repair it as it had been stolen. It's shocking to think someone would do that so soon after Peaches died."
Sky News reported that a similar incident happened in 2011 when burglars targeted singer Amy Winehouse's home after her death and took her wedding dress that was scheduled to be sold at a charity auction.
