Perfect Wife Sculpted by Plastic Surgeon for Himself (Video)

A controversial plastic surgeon sculpted a perfect wife for himself — and a walking ad for his practice — after he performed several surgeries on a female patient.

Dr. David Matlock, 49, best known for pioneering postpartum vaginal reconstruction surgery and for appearing on "Dr. 90210," revealed this week in a Barcroft Media video that he transformed a patient into the “perfect wife.”

Matlock first met Veronica in 2007, when she sought a vaginoplasty after the birth of her daughter. She was 40 pounds heavier at the time, but Matlock said he immediately saw potential.

"I didn't see her weight then," he said in the video. "I just knew what I wanted to do."

Veronica, now 38, became the ideal woman after purchasing the "Wonder Woman Makeover" — which includes liposuction of the chin, arms, and thighs, and a Brazilian "butt lift." Shortly after her makeover, Matlock took Veronica out on a date and proposed to her.

Veronica, who is featured on his website, has had several more surgeries since then. Matlock has also undergone his own pioneering procedures to perfect his body.

Veronica’s daughter, Isabella, 9, is not in favor of the numerous cosmetic altercations.

"I would never really wanna get surgery, cause it's not really you. I'd want to be myself," she said.

Matlock has other critics. The Washington Post reported in 2007 that he has been disciplined by the Medical Board of California, which tried to revoke his license.

He settled with the board and was given four years of probation.

Matlock has been sued for malpractice 10 times in the past decade for what he characterizes as "nuisance cases."

As for the results, Veronica said the surgeries were worth it even though Matlock told her it was “love at first sight.”

Online commenters at Gawker.com had mixed reactions.

“If I ever went to a plastic surgeon for a nose or vagina job and he suggested I also get lipo and a butt lift I would leave immediately. This is so beyond creepy.”

Wrote another: “Well, at least they look happy and proud of the bodies they've sculpted. So, good for them?”
