Actor Pierce Brosnan "love" to join a future cast of "The Expendables," he said in a recent interview.
"I said to (producer) Avi Lerner, 'If it works out and you have a good script, Avi, you know where to find me if you still want me.' It's as simple as that really,"
Brosnan told ComingSoon.net in an exclusive interview. "To bring a bunch of guys together who saved the world, fought the bad guys, and put them all on the same stage, that's crazy good."

"It's just about entertainment,” Brosnan added. “Avi is somebody I've heard about and his movies always have big brash entertainment value to them. You can really change the world and that's great, but 'The Expendables'? Yeah, I'd love to do 'The Expendables.' It's just a kick in the pants."
Brosnan hasn’t appeared in an action film since playing James Bond in "Die Another Day" in 2002.
“The Expendables 3,” starring Stallone, Kelsey Grammar, Mel Gibson, and Jason Statham, among other notable stars, opens in U.S. theaters Aug. 15.
Bruce Willis, who starred in the first two films, won't appear in the third one because he wanted $1 million per day of a four-day shoot.
If "Expendables 3" does well, a fourth installment of the franchise is expected.
