Pizza Hut is now offering beer delivery to customers from more than 100 of its Arizona and California locations after experimenting with a single Phoenix location in December.
The company expanded the service on Tuesday to include other Phoenix restaurants. It also added Tucson and Glendale, Arizona, to the list, as well as six California cities: Los Angeles, Bakersfield, Riverside, Sacramento, Santa Barbara, and Santa Clara. Three more California cities will have beer delivery later this month.
Pizza Hut initially teamed up with Anheuser-Busch to offer the beer delivery, but has expanded that as well: It now offers MillerCoors products to customers.
NBC Bay Area reported Pizza Hut will deliver the beer cold using custom coolers.
Of Pizza Hut’s 6,300 restaurants in the U.S., 1,700 have liquor licenses, meaning that its beer delivery could go out of the experimental stage and expand further.
Consumers, who are the final decision-maker, Pizza Hut's beer delivery was a great idea.
