A Port Pirie, Australia, mother flashed her large breasts for Google Street View, and the notoriety earned her an disorderly behavior charged from local police.
Karen Davis went viral after she flashed her K-cup breasts at the Google car as it went by, and although she told a local paper she’s unrepentant for her actions, the police didn’t think they were appropriate.
The Port Pirie police told The Daily Mail that Davis “pursued” the Google Street View car to expose herself. “The woman’s actions were the same as someone flashing their genitals and the public expectation is that we take action,” Superintendent Scott Denny said. “Recently in Port Pirie we arrested a man for exposing himself in public — this incident is no different. It is not appropriate for anyone to expose themselves in public places. Our community should be able to expect a bit of decency.”
But
Davis told the Port Pirie Recorder that she was glad she did it. “I look at Google Maps a lot and I wanted to be on there and I thought this is the way to do it,” Davis said. “I also did it for a friend in the United Kingdom. Now he can see me all the time. I got to tick something else off my bucket list. I met Sam Newman and now I am on Google Maps.”
Many went online to express their disgust with Davis’ flashing.
People criticized her on Facebook, to which the Recorder said Davis responded online: “Haters hate, you got the guts to do it?” and other sharp comments.
Her parenting came under attack, too, once it was revealed her two sons were in the background of the bare-breasted photo on Google Street View. Despite her Facebook bravado, Davis cried when she told the Daily Mail that she was being called a “bad mother” and “pure filth” for her behavior.
