Natalie Portman wore a daring dress at the Cannes International Film Festival on Sunday — one that showed off her underwear.
People magazine reported that the dress was designed by Rodarte, and featured a beaded floral panel in the front. The sheer black draping of the dress hung over Portman's shoulders, as well as her backside, which was itself clad in black panties.
The "Black Swan" actress sported the getup the day after the premiere of "A Tale of Love and Darkness," which marked Portman's directorial debut. The Hebrew-language film tells the tale of Israeli writer and journalist Amos Oz, who grew up in Jerusalem before Israeli statehood.
At the premiere, the 33-year-old actor/director wore a beautiful Dior dress.
Portman is set to portray both Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg as well as First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy in two upcoming films.
