A Powerball jackpot ticket was sold, making someone in Pennsylvania $456.7 million richer after Saturday night's drawing, Philadelphia's WPVI-TV reported.
The ticket matched the winning numbers 22, 57, 59, 60, 66, and the Powerball number 7, the television station reported. The estimated $456.7 million, which has a cash value of $273.9 million, is the eighth largest jackpot in Powerball game history, WPVI-TV wrote.
Officials have not revealed where the winning ticket was sold, the television station said. Three tickets sold in California, Missouri, and Texas had five correct white ball numbers, providing a smaller windfall of from $1 million and $2 million for those ticket holders, according to the Powerball website.
The jackpot is the first win since a judge ruled this month that a New Hampshire woman won in January can remain anonymous after capturing a $560 million Powerball jackpot in January, ABC News reported. The woman was identified as Jane Doe in court documents.
"The court has no doubts whatsoever that should Ms. Doe's identity be revealed, she will be subject to an alarming amount of harassment, solicitation and unwanted communications," Hillsborough, New Hampshire Superior Court Judge Charles Temple said in his ruling, ABC News wrote.
"(The lottery winner) met her burden of showing that her privacy interest in the nondisclosure of her name outweighs the public interest in the disclosure of her name," Temple continued, per ABC News.
The network said Temple did not find support for Powerball's claim that the revealing the identity of winners solidifies confidence in the public's mind that the lottery has "real winners," calling the argument "weak."
The woman, who claimed her winning under the Good Karma Family 2018 Nominee Trust facilitated by the law firm of Shaheen & Gordon, donated $250,000 to Girls Inc. of New Hampshire and three chapters of End 68 Hours of Hunger, Powerball announced.
The winning was the largest ever given in New Hampshire through Powerball, Debra Douglas, chair of the New Hampshire Lottery Commission said in a statement.
"This is truly a life-altering prize and it is incredibly gratifying to learn of the winner's plans to make such an amazing impact on our nonprofit community here in New Hampshire," Douglas said in January. "We are tremendously happy for our winner and we wish her and her family all the best."
The Mega Millions jackpot grows to $377 million with its drawing Tuesday.
