There was one Powerball winner of the $758.7 million jackpot in Massachusetts on Wednesday night, but don't tear up those tickets. Six of them hit for $2 million and 34 for $1 million.

One ticket, purchased at a convenience store in Watertown, Massachusetts, had the winning numbers 6, 7, 16, 23, 26 with the Powerball number 4, The Washington Post said.

No one has stepped forward so far to claim the second richest lottery victory in history.

The Massachusetts State Lottery announced there was a winner on Twitter.

Powerball said contestants from 44 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands vied for the jackpot that had not been won since June.

The $758 million prize reflects the annuity option, paid over 29 years. CBS News said that the winner will walk away with $443 million if he or she picks the one-time lump sum payment. After federal taxes, the sum will likely hover around $267 million, the network stated.

Charlie McIntyre, Powerball's product group chair, told The Associated Press that six other tickets won $2 million apiece, and 34 more are worth $1 million for picking most of the winning numbers.

The only payout to top Wednesday's drawing was on Jan. 13, 2016, when winners in Florida, Tennessee and California split a whopping $1.586 billion prize, according to Powerball.
