A new picture of Princess Charlotte was released to the public on Monday in celebration of her second birthday.
Charlotte's mother, Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, revealed the photograph, which highlights the toddler’s Tuesday birthday, according to The Telegraph.
The photograph, which was taken in April at Prince William and Kate’s residence in Norfolk, appears to be the continuation of a trend for the family.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also released an image of Charlotte after her first birthday for all of their royal fans to see.
William and Kate said they were very "delighted" to share this special picture of their only daughter, who's "wearing a yellow cardigan, decorated with images of sheep, while she sports a navy clip in her hair," The Telegraph noted.
"The Duke and Duchess are very pleased to share this photograph as they celebrate Princess Charlotte's second birthday," according to a statement from Kensington Palace.
"Their Royal Highnesses would like to thank everyone for all of the lovely messages they have received, and hope that everyone enjoys this photograph of Princess Charlotte as much as they do," the statement continued.
The royal couple usually keeps their daughter out of the public eye, but she has been spotted out and about with her family on a few occasions other than just in these birthday images, according to BBC.
Charlotte was photographed on Christmas Day while at a church service in Bucklebury village, located in Berkshire.
She was also seen several times while with her parents during a tour in Canada.
Princess Charlotte is expected to make headlines again later this month as a bridesmaid at her aunt Pippa Middleton's wedding.
