Former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy suggested that the upcoming Super Bowl between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers might be manipulated to pave the way for an endorsement of President Joe Biden by Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
Ramaswamy made his prediction on social media platform X in response to a post by influencer Jack Posobiec, known for championing the so-called Pizzagate theory, who mused that he was "thinking about when Taylor Swift called out the Soros family in 2019 for buying the rights to her music and then how she came out a super liberal in 2020."
"I wonder who's going to win the Super Bowl next month. And I wonder if there's a major presidential endorsement coming from an artificially culturally propped-up couple this fall," Ramaswamy replied. "Just some wild speculation over here, let's see how it ages over the next 8 months."
It has been widely reported that President Joe Biden has been eyeing an endorsement from pop star Swift, who said before his 2020 campaign that she would "proudly vote" for Biden because "under their leadership, I believe America has a chance to start the healing process it so desperately needs."
The New York Times has noted that Biden campaign staffers are hoping to take it further this year, leveraging Swift's star power in a bigger way that includes potential fundraising appeals, and one idea going as far as suggesting sending Biden to a stop on Swift's "Eras Tour," which is slated to return to the U.S. in October.
Kelce, Swift's boyfriend, is a star tight end for the Chiefs. The Super Bowl will be played on Feb. 11.
