The Florida man implicated in the viral "Redneck Road Rage" video was arrested this week for leaving the scene of an accident and careless driving.

It started Monday in Tampa when Tracy Lynn Sloan noticed a black pickup truck following her very closely on U.S. 41. After a few minutes of being tailgated, Sloan took out her cell phone and started recording.

"I couldn't move over because there were trucks in the right lane, and I sure as heck wasn't going to speed on a rainy day with the roads being as slick as they were," she posted on YouTube along with the video, titled "Redneck Road Rage/Instant Karma."

The clip shows the driver of the black pickup truck tailgating Sloan, pulling up alongside her, and giving her the finger. But the kicker is when he speeds up to pass her and loses control of his vehicle, spinning out across the road and crashing into a light pole.

"That's what you get! All on video buddy!" Sloan can be heard yelling at the driver as she passes by. The video already has more than 3.6 million views on YouTube.

"I've recorded circumstances like this before, catching idiots doing stupid things, but never ever had this happen," she wrote. "This moron could have easily killed somebody with his moronic behavior, and my laughing at the end would have been replaced with tears. Needless to say though, I've never seen karma come back so fast."

The driver of the truck, Jeffrey Travis White, fled the scene of the accident, the Tampa Bay Times reported. But he was arrested at his Tampa home Wednesday after Sloan turned her video over to police.

White, 33, faces charges including leaving the scene of an accident, careless driving, and failing to wear a seatbelt, the newspaper noted.
