Renee Alway, a finalist on the reality show "America's Next Top Model" in 2007, is awaiting a hearing after she was arrested June 28 at a Palm Springs, Calif., home following a six-hour police standoff. She was charged with two counts of burglary and intent to defraud.

The Palm Spring Desert Sun reported that Alway is facing 10 felony changes, culminating in a June 28 incident where authorities arrested her with a loaded weapon. She is scheduled to appear in court Thursday for a drug court evaluation, the newspaper said.

The incident gained national attention over the weekend when she was identified in the June 28 incident by TMZ.com.

She remained in the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility in Banning on $150,000 bail, according to the Desert Sun. Alway has been assigned a public defender in her case, said the newspaper.

In the June 28 incident, the Desert Sun wrote that authorities were called to the 600 block of Violeta Drive because of a suspicious female in the area. They found Alway, who had a firearm, hiding in the garage of an unoccupied home, the newspaper said.

Police, believing another armed person was inside, called out its SWAT unit where they stayed for six hours before determining no one was there.

The Desert Sun wrote this was at least the fourth time Palm Springs police have arrested the reality show star this year.

Police arrested Alway April 12 on charges of grand theft, grand theft firearm, and preventing a witness from testifying. Authorities nabbed her again on April 24 for allegedly receiving stolen property and possession of controlled substance, along with four misdemeanor charges, according to the Desert Sun.

The newspaper reported that Alway was handcuffed June 2 for allegedly receiving stolen property, defraud by passing check, and using personal identification information of another to obtain credit.

On "America's Next Top Model," Alway revealed that her father, a pastor and policeman, was verbally and physically abusive, according to Styleit.com. Alway said on the episode titled "Modelville" that her siblings and mother were afraid to leave because of his positions.
