Renee Zellweger remained a trending topic on Twitter 24 hours after appearing, well, not like herself at the Elle Women in Hollywood party in Beverly Hills.

Though she hasn't confirmed it, to many observers, it was obvious the "Jerry Maguire" star had more than a little work done.

The change in Zellweger’s appearance and the ensuing flurry of Tweets prompted Fox News to ask plastic surgeons what kind of procedures the Oscar winner had performed.

"It looks like she had eyelid surgery, blepharoplasty, botox, lip fillers and cheek fillers. ... It appears she changed the shape of eye and eyelid,” Dr. Todd Schlifstein told Fox News of Zellweger's changed appearance.

Zellweger is known for being shy and typically shuns both social media and red carpet appearances. On Monday, she appeared in fit and in good spirits, wearing a dress by designer Carolina Herrera.

The event was Zellweger’s second high-profile appearance in as many days. On Sunday, she appeared at the Walk to Defeat ALS in support of publicist Nancy Ryder, who was recently diagnosed with the disease.

Zellweger’s first film since 2010, "The Whole Truth," will be released in 2015.

Twitter comments ranged from confusion to approval of the new look:
