Family members of Reny Jose, a 21-year-old Rice University student who went missing on Spring Break in Panama City, Fla., are encouraging people to continue looking for him.
Jose was reported missing Tuesday after he
disappeared from a house he was renting with friends, The Associated Press reported.

Jose’s clothes, cell phone, and wallet were found in a trash can, the AP said. Jose’s friends reported they saw him near the house they were renting on Monday.
"We do not suspect foul play," a
Bay County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson told ABC News.
Jose’s family started a Facebook page with information on the missing student and the search. An online fundraising campaign to help with the search was started on Fundly.
Family members
spoke to WJHG about their fear over Jose’s disappearance.
“At the moment, our family is still extremely devastated; we’re just hoping for good news,” said his sister, Reashma Jose.
Reashma Jose told the station that her brother rented a house with about 20 of his university friends. Some of those friends have indicated that Jose may have taken LSD, WJHG said.
When asked about her brother’s possible drug use, Reashma told WJHG that she wasn’t aware of any drug use. “Reny is one of the most rational people I’ve ever met and he has a level head. He does so well with school and he strives so hard to do his absolute best," Reashma said.
Her family just wants to find Jose and make sure he is safe, she added.
"Honestly I would just want to see him again. He is literally the rock that holds this family together. We're just hoping and praying he's out there OK and we just want him to come home," Reashma told WJHG.
