Following the death of L'Wren Scott, the Rolling Stones postponed the Australian and New Zealand legs of their world tour this week as Mick Jagger mourns the suicide of his longtime girlfriend, a renowned fashion designer.

The legendary rock 'n' roll band announced the suspended world tour dates Tuesday on their website.

"The Rolling Stones are deeply sorry and disappointed to announce the postponement of the rest of their 14 'On Fire' tour of Australia and New Zealand following the death of L'Wren Scott," the announcement read.

The concerts affected by the postponement are:

Perth Arena – March 19
Adelaide Oval – March 22
Sydney Allphones Arena – March 25

Melbourne Rod Laver Arena – March 28
Macedon Ranges Hanging Rock – March 30
Brisbane Entertainment Centre – April 2

Auckland Mt Smart Stadium – April 5

The Stones are encouraging those with tickets to hold onto them, as the band is working to reschedule the shows.

Scott, a 49-year-old fashion designer to the stars, was found dead of an apparent suicide Monday morning in her upscale Manhattan apartment building. Rumors swirled that Scott, who began dating Jagger in 2001, was struggling financially under mountains of debt at the time of her death.

Jagger opened up about Scott's death Tuesday with a post on Facebook.
