Royal Family Christmas Card Gives Glimpse at Will, Kate, Kids

This year's royal family Christmas card from Prince William and Kate Middleton featured a photo of their family of four, with their adorable children stealing the show. 

Kensington Palace tweeted the image used on the card so everyone could see it.

The photo features the foursome in various shades of blue, including Kate’s Catherine Walker suit she has worn several times previously, People reported. The photo may have been taken on the same day as Prince George’s fourth birthday picture because he was wearing the same outfit in his birthday photo.

Both photos were taken by Getty Images royal photographer Chris Jackson, who posted on Instagram his “delight” at the use of the photo he took on the royals' annual card.

William and Kate also announced their daughter, Princess Charlotte, who will turn 3 in May, would be starting preschool at nearby Willcocks Nursery School after the New Year.

A Christmas card from Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, also was tweeted from the account of their official residence, Clarence House. The photo was taken at Camilla’s private 70th birthday celebration, the tweet said.
