He was paired with the Natural Born Thrillers and won tag team titles three times before WCW folded. O’Haire and his partner Chuck Palumbo were the final WCW tag team champions. O’Haire moved to WWE and began a gimmick of giving “devil’s advocate” advice to people. He was partnered with Roddy Piper. O’Haire was released in 2004.

O’Haire later took up kickboxing and mixed martial arts, according to TMZ.

More than 200 wresters have died prematurely since 1990, according to the Mirror. In April, James Hellwig, The Ultimate Warrior, died of a heart attack at 54.

Twitter users expressed condolences.
