The apparent romance between Charlize Theron and Sean Penn seems to be blossoming as the couple was spotted grocery shopping together with Theron’s young son.
According to the New York Daily News, Penn and Theron were at a Los Angeles Whole Foods with Theron’s 2-year-old son, Jackson. Penn, 53, was goofing around with Jackson while Theron filled up the cart. The actor has two children with his ex, Robin Wright.

Spicing up the shopping trip, the Daily News said Theron “put her hand on” Penn’s rear end as they unloaded groceries.
Rumors of the pair’s involvement started around New Year’s when they were spotted at Penn’s vacation home in Hawaii.
In
Piers Morgan’s column for the Daily Mail, Morgan offered up an insight into the couple’s budding romance.
Penn, at a Haiti fundraiser where a sculpture made out of 67 guns he previously owned was being auctioned off, said he changed his mind about gun ownership at least in part because of Theron’s experience in her childhood, Morgan wrote. When she was 15, her mother shot her abusive alcoholic father.
“I'm a self-proclaimed Alpha male who owns 67 firearms,"
Penn said in his speech at the event, according to Us Weekly. "But I've had my mind changed about guns by a strong woman, a beautiful South African woman. I don't need these cowardly instruments of violence and destruction, none of us do.”
At 2 a.m., as the party/fundraiser wrapped up, Penn and Morgan were saying goodbye, and Morgan congratulated him on the event and on his relationship with Theron.
Penn laughed, Morgan reported. “She’s a keeper, that’s for sure. ... Well, I’ll do my best to keep her anyway!”
