Photos of U.S. Press Secretary Sean Spicer dressed up as the Easter Bunny during past White House Easter Egg Rolls are resurfacing as the holiday gets closer.

About a decade ago, Spicer put on the bunny suit at least twice for the annual White House Easter Egg Roll.

Spicer’s turn as the iconic bunny was never really a secret, but it's amusing now that he holds a spot in President Donald Trump's administration.

He tweeted last year that he wished he could "hide" in the costume again.

During a Politico interview about the experience in 2008, Spicer said it is very hot inside the suit and difficult to see as well, despite the huge eyes and glasses. He seemed to enjoy the experience, especially seeing all the families and the kids who want to say thank you for their basket or Easter gift.

It isn’t all that unusual for administration members to dress up as the Easter Bunny, and Spicer wasn’t the only bunny at the events during which he played that role.

At the time, George W. Bush was president and Spicer worked in the U.S. trade representative’s office.

Twitter was decidedly mixed about the revelation.
