A SeaWorld dolphin snatched an iPad right out of the hands of a theme park visitor on Sunday.

The Orlando Sentinel reported that a video of the incident, caught by SeaWorld Orlando season pass holder Kuadiel Gomez, showed the dolphin rising from the water, grabbing the iPad with its mouth and dunking it into the water before the woman was able to grab it back.

Gomez's video has been viewed more than 186,000 times on Facebook and shared more than 300 times. Adding insult to injury, the dolphin appeared to take a victory lap in celebration afterward, splashing the crowd before swimming off.

"She was definitely upset," Gomez, of Wesley Chapel, Florida, told WTVT. "She tried to snatch her ipad out the water as soon as possible."

Gomez said he had his smartphone video rolling to record his 14-month-old son petting one of the dolphins when the iPad snatch happened. He admitted he saw the dolphin gazing up at the iPad and began recording just in case.

"I couldn't believe what was happening right in front of me," Gomez told the television station. "They're usually kind of friendly and just swimming around. They go on the ledge every now and then, but that day, I don't know, they seemed like they didn't want to get petted that much or touched."

Many on social media had humorous takes on the thievery.
