Shaquille O'Neal was roasted online after showing off his feet on national television during the NBA playoffs Thursday night.
Shaq is always making fun of NBA players' embarrassing moments on his TNT segment "Shaqtin' a Fool," but he stole the spotlight as the Cleveland Cavaliers took on the Boston Celtics at TD Garden on Thursday.
Twitter erupted during halftime of Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals when the four-time NBA champion showcased his "disgusting" foot to the world, according to Larry Brown Sports.
The TNT camera operators didn't miss a beat, zooming in on Shaq's infamous feet, which sparked immediate reactions from the Twitter world.
It was inevitable that social media users would drag Shaq through the mud after he revealed his feet to viewers, but the moment wouldn't have been memorable if the rest of the cast of "Inside the NBA" didn't chime in as well.
Host Ernie Johnson was talking basketball during the halftime report when Shaq interrupted him, according to the New York Daily News.
“Check out at those claws," Shaq said.
“I guess we’re not going to talk about the third quarter,” Johnson said after "laughs" and "groans" from the rest of the four-man crew.
“You would not pay somebody to give you a pedicure, would you?” Johnson asked.
“Take that camera off,” Charles Barkley said while laughing. “C’mon man.”
Kenny Smith joined in on the roast session as well, jokingly shaming Shaq for having millions of dollars, but not doing something about his feet.
O'Neal recently announced his plans to run for sheriff in 2020.
Hopefully, for his sake, voters forget about the horrible image of his feet when they go out to the voting booths in more than two years from now.
