Simon Cowell's pregnant girlfriend Lauren Silverman is officially divorced from her husband Andrew Silverman after a hearing in New York Civil Court on Wednesday.

Andrew Silverman, according to E! News.

"I am committed to sorting things out with Andrew as amicably as possible to ensure the well-being of our son," Lauren Silverman said in a statement to E! News in August when the initial agreement was hammered out. "I would hope for some space and privacy in order to work through this."
Her lawyers Bernard Clair and Robert Cohen added, "We are working to resolve this situation in a fair and reasonable way that protects the best interests of our client and her son."
According to a source, Andrew Silverman is dealing with the divorce "as best" he can.
"Andrew considered Simon a real friend," the source said. "At the end of the day, (Lauren) is pregnant by a man who's not her husband. There's really no defending it."
Andrew Silverman told TMZ.com in August, "As I've said all along, my priority was resolving this quickly for the sake of our son. Lauren and I both love him very much and I’m looking forward to starting a new chapter in our lives."
Cowell, 53, went public about Lauren Silverman's pregnancy in August.
"I'm proud to be a dad,"
Cowell told the BBC. "It's something I hadn't thought of before, but now I know I feel good about it."
Cowell, the British music insider, made it big in television as the sharp-tongued judge on Great Britain's "Pop Idol" reality show in 2001 and then in the United States for "American Idol."
His harsh critiques helped make both shows a hit. Cowell went on to create other reality show competitions like "American Inventor," "America's Got Talent" and "Celebrity Duets." He left "American Idol" to start "The X Factor" where he remains as a judge.
