Sinead O’Connor took to Facebook on Tuesday in yet another emotional rant, this time publicly pleading for her family to come visit her in the hospital after the Irish singer posted what appeared to be a suicidal note online Sunday.
The 48-year-old sparked concern over the weekend with an alarming message on the social networking site.
"I have taken an overdose," she wrote Sunday. "There is no other way to get respect. I am not at home, I'm at a hotel, somewhere in Ireland, under another name If I wasn't posting this, my kids and family wouldn't even find out. Was dead for another fortnight since none of them bother their hole with me for a minute. I could have been dead here for weeks already and they'd never have known."
She followed up that post with one on Monday, bashing her family, including her two oldest children, Jake Reynolds, 28, and Roisin Waters, 19.
"Jake, Roisin, Jr., frank (sic), Donal, Eimear, I never wanna see you again. You stole my sons from me. Then you had hypocrisy to come to hospital and then not be here when I wake and not pick up phone? . . . You're dead to me. You killed your mother. You stole my sons . . . You are child stealing murderers, I never want to see or hear from any of you again. Why were you here when you're the ones who put me here???? And where the f*** are you now??? Murderers. Liars. Hypocrites. All of you. You caused this."
In the newest post, O’Connor begs her children and their fathers to come visit her.
“To my children and family. You came to the hospital to see me on life support. You left before I woke and you haven't been back. Please why are you doing these things to me?? I need you. I need your love. I can't manage what's being done to me. I didnt do anything g to deserve the way im being treated,” she wrote Tuesday. “Please. Please love me. Please come to the hospital and spend time with me and help Fix all this.”
Though O'Connor mentions life support in her Facebook posts, the I
rish news site Breaking News reported that police found her safe and sound.
The flurry of Facebook activity comes in the wake of an alleged squabble involving the “Nothing Compares 2 U” singer and her fight to see her youngest children — Shane Lunny, 11, and
Yeshua Bonadio, 8, according to People magazine.
“Come and tell me why this is all happening. Come and tell Me I'm loved. Come e (sic) and tell.me (sic) I'm wanted and cherished. Why did you leave before I woke?” she wrote. “Been missing you all for weeks. To hear that you were here and left was agony.”
O’Connor, who reportedly underwent a hysterectomy in August, also sparked suicide concerns in 2011 with a
series of worrisome tweets, E! Online reported at the time.
