Police say an Ohio woman allegedly stabbed her boyfriend because he ate all the salsa.
Phyllis D. Jefferson, 50, was at the apartment of her 61-year-old boyfriend Sunday night when she allegedly became angry because there was no salsa left.
According to Cleveland.com, she stabbed her boyfriend in the pelvis with a pen, and then with a kitchen knife in his side.
Officers arrived to
find the man holding his stomach, police told Fox 8. Jefferson was later pulled over on the local interstate.
She has been charged with second-degree felony assault and a misdemeanor count of criminal damaging.
The boyfriend was treated at a nearby hospital and his injuries don't appear to be life-threatening.
