The Standard Hotel has fired the employee who leaked a security video that appears to show Solange Knowles attacking Jay Z inside an elevator.
"The Standard has already terminated the individual and will now be pursuing all available civil and criminal remedies,"
Standard Hotel spokesman Brian Phillips said, according to CNN.

Jay Z and Beyonce were married in 2008. Knowles is Beyonce’s sister.
TMZ released the video on Monday, which has gotten widespread attention. The video appears to show Knowles kicking and swinging at the rapper shortly after they enter the elevator. A man tries to hold back Knowles, and Beyonce is present but doesn’t get physically involved.
It’s unknown exactly what sparked the May 5 altercation, but
People reported that tension was building at a Met Gala afterparty.
The video appears to be recorded on a cell phone from surveillance monitors.
"We are shocked and disappointed that there was a clear breach of our security system and the confidentiality that we count on providing our guests,"
a hotel representative told Us Weekly. "We are investigating with the utmost urgency the circumstances surrounding the situation and, as is our customary practice, will discipline and prosecute the individuals to our fullest capacity."
E! Online reported that a source said TMZ bought the video from a female security guard for between $50,000 to $100,000.
A source
told the New York Post’s Page Six that the tape was sold for $250,000.
