Stephen Curry crashed a house party in Newport, Rhode Island, over the weekend, and images of the encounter have gone viral.
The Golden State Warriors star randomly strolled into the party and shared a few beers with the occupants before leaving, SFGate reported.
One of the party goers, Jim Marrinan, snapped a group photo with Curry, which was uploaded onto Instagram captioned "no afterparty is complete without @stephencurry30 randomly rolling in asking to party…"
The NBA player was in town for a wedding and, according to TMZ, was on the prowl for an after-party with a group of friends when they came across a house blasting loud music.
The gang reportedly walked up to the door, knocked, and asked the hosts if they could join in on the festivities.
Curry’s presence was welcomed with open arms and he was ushered into the house and handed a beer, which he chugged down, spilling the drink over his shirt.
Curry seems to enjoy mingling with fans in informal settings.
Last week the 29-year-old surprised a disabled Navy veteran, Tim Birckhead, by welcoming him to a new home designed specifically for his disabilities.
This was an initiative of non-profit organization, Homes for Our Troops, which Entertainment Tonight reported built the house to cater for Birckhead's specific needs.
Speaking about meeting Curry, the veteran said he almost fainted.
"Unbelievable. I was star truck, to say the least," he told Entertainment Tonight. "I always wanted to meet him. It's unbelievable that I met him today. I told him I wanted him to win another championship for the Warriors."
Curry now turns his attention to golf this week as he competes in the Ellie Mae Classic at TPC Stonebrae.
"I'm staying realistic," he told ESPN about the tournament.
"First goal is just to get off the first tee on Thursday. If I can do that, I'll be off and running.
