After a three-week holiday hiatus, "American Horror Story: Coven" hit the air again this week with a Stevie Nicks-themed episode that featured the long-awaited cameo from the rock goddess herself.
"AHS" creator Ryan Murphy thrilled fans in November when he revealed that he had convinced the 65-year-old Fleetwood Mac singer, with whom he had previously collaborated with on his other show "Glee," to appear in an episode of the third installment of the FX horror drama series.

In Wednesday night's aptly titled episode, "The Magical Delights of Stevie Nicks," the songstress is summoned to the witch coven's New Orleans headquarters by reigning Supreme Fiona Goode (Jessica Lange) to meet Misty Day (Lily Rabe), a Nicks fan girl who's spent most of the season twirling in the woods to "Rhiannon."
Nicks, who was worried about her lack of acting experience leading up to the cameo,
told the Los Angeles Times that the entire "AHS" cast was a pleasure to work with.
"Everybody was just so supportive of me because they knew that’s not what I do. Everybody tried to explain to me, you’re never going to get anything on the first take," she said. "Even if you do, they’re going to have to film it again 100 more times, And, boy were they right."
Fans of the show who have been anticipating the episode for months took to Twitter to fawn over Nicks' guest spot.
