The home of Jared Fogle, the affable Subway spokesman, was raided on Tuesday morning as part of child porn investigation linked to the executive director of his nonprofit foundation.
NBC affiliate WTHR reported that Fogle was detained at the Zionsville home, but not arrested during the 6 a.m. raid, which was led by the Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children task force.
An alleged picture of Fogle with a federal agent was circulated on Twitter as the news broke.
Electronics were reportedly removed from the home, and appeared to be under forensic examination by technology experts inside a van in Fogle's driveway.
Russell Taylor, the former executive director of the Jared Foundation, was arrested this spring and charged with multiple counts related to child exploitation and voyeurism. After his arrest, Fogle and the foundation severed all ties with Taylor, and Subway clarified that it has no ties to the foundation.
The Jared Foundation is dedicated to helping children pursue healthy eating habits and exercise.
