Sylvester Stallone is the latest celeb targeted in a death hoax. The actor and his younger brother both slammed posts being shared online that reported the “Rocky” actor’s death.
“SO LONG CHAMP,” one post read, claiming Stallone had died of prostate cancer and reading “RIP 1946-2018.” The false report showed up on Twitter and Facebook, where it was shared, although some people thought he was already dead from a previous hoax in 2016.
Stallone posted on Instagram and Twitter that the rumors were false and that he was “alive and well and happy and healthy... Still punching!”
The actor’s brother Frank Stallone also posted that the rumors were false, asking what “sick demented cruel” mind would post a false death report.
Others on Twitter felt similarly about the false posting, though some believed it at first.
