A sketch of Taylor Swift in a Denver federal court this week during a sexual assault trial closed to the press is generating Twitter buzz because people say the unflattering portrait looks nothing like her.

The trial is because of a lawsuit Swift filed against Denver DJ David Mueller alleging he groped her during a 2013 meet-and-greet. Mueller denies groping the megastar and has countersued her because he lost his job after her suit went public.

With the press kept out of the courtroom, the artist’s sketches are the only window into the goings-on, but fans have been vocally critical of the way Swift is being portrayed.

Twitter has exploded with jokes and snarky comments about the sketch.

According to TMZ, Swift is only asking for $1 in the civil lawsuit, saying that it’s about the principle of the matter, not the money, and that she wants to stop the groping from happening to anyone else.
