It may not be the song’s official video, but Taylor Swift singing "Blank Space" in a car with BBC Radio 1’s Greg James is racking up hundreds of thousands of hits on YouTube.
James is driving the superstar around London in a small car while she belts out "screaming, crying, perfect thorns" complete with expressive hands and face. By Friday afternoon, the video had more than 670,000 views.
Of course, that total seems a little paltry when compared to the song’s video,
which The Huffington Post called “delightfully crazy” and that has more than 31 million hits.

Still, Swift and James are clearly having a good time cruising through what look like residential neighborhoods.
And James’ driving created a lot of (rather hilarious) comments on YouTube — along the lines of “this is dangerous” — and the resulting revelation that the car was actually being towed for the staged video.
"This is so risky! What if the dude crashed the car? TAYLOR SWIFT COULD DIE!!!!! These kinda stuff should be banned!" one person wrote.
"Someone should stop this before it turns into a 200 page debate on the whether or not this video is teaching kids to drive recklessly. Please youtube, show some restraint," another person wrote.
Others loved the fun and silliness that came through in the video.
“This is hilarious! Taylor is the biggest music superstar in the world right now but she acts like she isn't. That's the best thing about her,” one person wrote.
The quirky video to “Blank Space” – the real one – has gotten a lot of attention online.
Slate even asked the question, “What if Taylor Swift’s new video were a horror movie?” and proceeded to make one.
