Wisconsin governor and one-time presidential contender Scott Walker endorsed Ted Cruz on Tuesday, calling him "a principled constitutional conservative."

"Just like we did in Wisconsin, Ted Cruz is not afraid to challenge the status quo and to stand up against the big government special interests," Walker said in a statement. "He is the best-positioned candidate to both win the Republican nomination and defeat Hillary Clinton. That’s why I endorse Ted Cruz for President of the United States."

The endorsement added a big name to Cruz's growing roster of boosters, and was a welcome gesture just one week before the Wisconsin primary.

In addition to Gov. Walker, gathered below are 15 other big names who support Ted Cruz for president.

Urgent: Do You Support Ted Cruz for the GOP Nomination? Vote Here Now

1. Glenn Beck — "We need a new George Washington," the TV and radio commentator said in January. "Today’s Washington will not be found in the garish light of gold, but rather, in the bold service of a man who stands tirelessly for what he deeply believes — that government should be of the people, by the people, and for the people. That is why I am endorsing Senator Ted Cruz as the next president of the United States of America." In 40 years of broadcasting, Beck had previously never endorsed a presidential candidate.

2. Greg Abbott — The Texas governor endorsed Cruz, his fellow Texan, in late February, ahead of the state primary, The Texas Tribune reported. The endorsement appears to have helped Cruz pull of his first-place finish there.

3. Jeb Bush — "Today, I am endorsing Ted Cruz for president," the former Florida governor and presidential candidate said last week. "Ted is a consistent, principled conservative who has demonstrated the ability to appeal to voters and win primary contests."

4. Nikki Haley — The South Carolina governor originally endorsed Rubio, but shifted her support to Cruz after the Florida senator dropped out of the race. "The only thing I can say now is my hope and my prayer is that Sen. Cruz can come through this," she said in mid-March, according to NBC News. "That's who privately I'm fighting for. I do see a path for him, because I think he's been solid and strong the entire way. I think that he's been disciplined in the way that he's done it."

5. Mia Love — "Because I believe we need a president with less bravado and more real courage to act on conservative principles, I will be casting my vote Tuesday for Ted Cruz," the Republican congresswoman said last week, according to The Hill. "He has proven himself to be a principled, courageous leader with a positive agenda for our future."

6. Carly Fiorina — After dropping out of the presidential race in February, the former Hewlett-Packard CEO endorsed Cruz ahead of the Florida-Ohio primaries on March 15. She said this week that no "deal" has been struck to become his running mate, but said she wouldn't rule out the possibility if she is asked, National Review reported

7. Louie Gohmert
— "Ted Cruz has been a steadfast patriot in the fight to ensure that America’s best days will still be ahead of us," Rep. Gohmert of Texas said in a public statement last week, lending his support to the Cruz campaign.

8. Mark Levin
— The conservative talk show host voiced his support for Cruz in early March, as a tribute to the late Nancy Reagan, The Hill reported. "I decided today was the day ultimately because of Nancy Reagan’s death," he said.

9. Mitt Romney — "This week, in the Utah nominating caucus, I will vote for Senator Ted Cruz," the former Massachusetts governor wrote on Facebook. "Today, there is a contest between Trumpism and Republicanism. Through the calculated statements of its leader, Trumpism has become associated with racism, misogyny, bigotry, xenophobia, vulgarity and, most recently, threats and violence. I am repulsed by each and every one of these."

10. Rick Perry — "2016 is a critical election and I'm here to stress to you how important it is for conservatives to rally together and support a consistent conservative candidate who will take on Washington and who can defeat the Democrat nominee," the former Texas governor said in a January video, just a few months after suspending his own presidential campaign, CBS News reported

11. Lindsey Graham — The senator from South Carolina said this month that Cruz was "the best alternative to Donald Trump," and announced that he would be helping fundraise for the campaign, Politico reported

12. Jack Welch — "Where truth is spoken, spin is gone," Welch, the former General Electric CEO, said last April. "This country needs more truth and trust. Ted Cruz says what he is going to do and he does it. And he is as smart as a whip." In March, Welch reiterated his support for the Texas senator, saying he "is your ONLY sure bet."

13. James Woods — "@SenTedCruz and I just spoke for 40 minutes by phone about our love of this country. This man is the real deal. I'm all in!" the actor wrote on Twitter in November, PJ Media reported. He continued, saying Cruz "has finally won me over because of his steadfast devotion to conservative principles regardless of polls or opinions."

14. Phil Robertson — The star of the hit TV show "Duck Dynasty" announced in January that, "Ted Cruz is my man, I’m voting for him." He explained that the duo hit it off with a hunting trip, and released video footage of the outing, Fox News reported

15. David Limbaugh — "With Ted Cruz we know what we're getting and we know it's the reverse of Obama's infernal effort to fundamentally transform America," the conservative author and pundit wrote in January. "I am pretty sure I don't need to prove the obvious reality that Trump arose because they wouldn't join Cruz and their constituents in the fight."
