#ThanksMichelleObama: Kids Tweet Gross-Looking School Lunch Photos

By    |   Friday, 21 November 2014 04:53 PM EST

Kids are tweeting photos of their gross-looking school lunches with the hashtag #ThanksMichelleObama to protest changes made to the school lunch program.

Rules for school lunches are set by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and the first lady has been an active proponent of making the lunches healthier.

Many people, presumably adults, weren’t sympathetic to the complaints. “The best part abt #ThanksMichelleObama is, hands down, the humorless scolds complaining abt the joke and the ungrateful kids making it,” @scottlincicome tweeted.
