The "nosey" Minnesota woman who thwarted a teen's school bombing plot last week with her 911 call said she's grateful she was in the right place at the right time.
It was Chelsie Schellhas' 911 call that foiled 17-year-old John David LaDue's plan to murder his family and then bomb Waseca Junior/Senior High School last week. Schellhas thought the teen looked suspicious Tuesday as he trekked through her backyard to a nearby storage unit.
"He was walking through my backyard, didn't take the road. He had his backpack on . . . He just looked like
he was homeless," Schellhas told ABC News. "I'm grateful I wondered. Who knows what the outcome could've been if I [wasn't] nosey."

It turns out Schellhas' gut feeling was right; police apprehended LaDue inside the storage unit after discovering three completed bombs, chemicals, and other
bomb-making materials, The Star Tribune reported.
LaDue was arrested and later charged with four counts of attempted first-degree murder, two counts of first-degree damage to property, and six counts of possession of a bomb by someone under 18, the newspaper noted.
He allegedly planned to kill his mother, father, and sister and then set fire to the home as a way to distract emergency personnel services before heading to the school to detonate
multiple pressure-cooker bombs, CNN reported.
Police said they found seven firearms and at least six completed bombs in LaDue's room and storage unit.
