Tim Tebow may have been cut from the NFL last month but his football career may not be over now that the LA Kiss arena team, owned by the eponymous rock band, has just offered the Heisman winner a three-year contract.
The Los Angeles Kiss, which will kick off its debut season next year, extended an offer to Tebow Monday,
just over a week after he was let go from the New England Patriots roster.
"As a former NFL player, the LA Kiss will offer intense training and unwavered commitment to the former New England Patriots player, with the hopes to take him to the next level," the LA Kiss said in a press release. "The chance for Tebow to improve as a quarterback is immense as the Arena Football League is a pass-happy league with 90 percent of the league's offensive plays coming from throwing the ball."

The LA Kiss is owned by the legendary rock band of the same name, and even members Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley are pushing for Tebow to become their star.
"Acquiring Tebow would not only be a great investment for the team, but his exciting style of play would definitely send shockwaves through the League," Simmons said in a statement. "We’re excited for the opportunity to see him with an LA Kiss uniform on, and for the LA Kiss fans to be rockin' their Tebow shirts and jerseys."
"Tim Tebow is one of the most recognized and respected athletes in sports," Stanley said. "His joining us would mean great things for his fans and for our team, especially from a business standpoint."
No word on whether Tebow, 26, will consider the offer, but the quarterback is currently out of a job after the Patriots cut him from its 53-man roster Aug. 31 — his third release by a team in 18 months.
The University of Florida alum played for the Denver Broncos for two seasons, before being traded to the New York Jets. He was later released and picked up by the Patriots, where he was then booted in favor of backup quarterback Ryan Mallett.
